Final garment

Here are a couple of images from wgsn that inspired the shape of the garment I wanted to design. I wanted the final piece to be a simple, sport type shape (t-shirt shape) due to the back fabric being very open and detailed. I was happy with the final outcome as I feel the garment looks causal and simple but the back detail of fabric makes the shape and design much more interesting.

Final sample ideas

Here are a few of my final samples that i feel worked the best and looked the most interesting. The different techniques used have been cabling, laddering, holding, plain knit and trimmings. I feel these seem ver comercial and would be good for mid-high market retailers.

More sample experiments

 These are a final few of my last experimented samples. I have kept the same techniques such as holding,laddering and cabling however I experimented with colours, stitching and trimmings,to decide what samples were most effective and should be continued.
